Oceanside High School recently completed a multi-faceted renovation and 7,600 SF addition. The $4.3 million project includes a new entrance/plaza with a dedicated bus loop and expanded parking. The entrance addition houses a new cafeteria that is double the size of the previous space, an adjacent commercial kitchen with servery, and new administrative offices.
Other improvements at Oceanside High School include universal restrooms in the main lobby designed to accommodate public functions such as concerts, plays, and sporting events. On the lower level, the school has a new training room and fitness center along with renovated and expanded locker rooms, and a new elevator connects the school’s lower level to the main corridor. Outside, the site was reconfigured to create a new bus loop, separate drop-off lane, additional parking spaces, and space to accommodate outdoor seating and functions. Together, the changes have enhanced Oceanside High School’s functionality, safety, aesthetics, comfort, and effectiveness for students, educators, and the RSU 13 community.
